How much food does my dog need?
All feeding recommendations are always approximate values. A general recommendation which applies to every dog is not possible. The amount of food required varies according to exercise, activity, metabolism and breed and must be determined individually for each dog. If the dog is too fat or thin, the feeding recommendation which achieves the ideal weight must be applied.
