Alimentum Veterinarium

Health begins in the gut

It is with this philosophy in mind that Terra Canis launched ALIMENTUM VETERINARIUM, the first line of dog food that was developed by veterinarians and boasts 100% human-grade quality of all ingredients. The primary focus of Alimentum Veterinarium’s two-year development phase was to create pet food following veterinary medical principles to support dogs diagnosed with the most common diseases. For this purpose, the tried-and-tested concept of feeding a species-appropriate diet with human-grade quality of all ingredients was applied to specially adapted diets.

Human-grade quality means that all ingredients are officially approved for use in manufacturing food products for humans at the time of processing due to their freshness and maximum quality. The products are manufactured in-house in order to ensure the utmost control and monitoring of ingredient quality and all production processes. The entire range of ingredients, the production facility, and the hygiene concept are all 100% subject to food safety standards. The recipes follow recommendations by veterinary medical specialists. All raw ingredients were selected in accordance with the clinical picture and nutritional benefits of the respective diseases. Furthermore, these ingredients are complemented by medicinal herbs based on their phytotherapeutic properties as well as by natural additives known for their positive impact on the affected organs.

Anke W.

Hello dear Terra Canis team, I’d like to thank you for your good food. Without it, my Jack Russell Opa Ente would no longer be alive.

Susanne & Chip

Dear Vets, We would like to tell you a bit about our experience with Terra Canis. In early 2019, our 13-year-old Parson Russell terrier was diagnosed with pancreatitis. He slept a lot, didn’t play as much and would eat grass before throwing it up again.

Sammy

Dear Terra Canis team, Our mini Australian shepherd (9 years old) had a tough year 2017. He had two inflammations of the abdomen. After numerous examinations, medications and different vets, we also received different diagnoses.
