Diabetic FAQs

These diet menus have been specially developed for dogs with diabetes mellitus. They support the regulation of stable blood glucose levels and therefore fulfil the special nutritional requirements of dogs with diabetes mellitus.
The menus contain high-quality muscle meat, low-calorie vegetables, fruit and herbs. Besides this, carbohydrates that lead to a rapid release of glucose are deliberately avoided. The fibre-rich composition promotes a stable glucose level, which means that nutrients are continuously released into the bloodstream. Blueberries, fenugreek, lupin, artichoke leaves, cumin, sage and thyme round off the menus.
The dog benefits when the amount of food is always kept constant and the feeding schedule shows little variation. As a rule, feeding twice a day is recommended to avoid glucose peaks in the blood. This should definitely be discussed with the attending vet, as this measure should be adapted to the individual veterinary therapy plan.
The menus are wholesome and balanced. They provide high-quality proteins, essential amino acids and important micronutrients and so contribute to your dog's vitality and quality of life. The diet menus are therefore therapy-supporting nutrition.

Light menus FAQs

The Light menus have been specially developed for dogs that tend to be overweight or are already slightly overweight. With their reduced fat content, they are low in calories without sacrificing important nutrients. This allows dogs to lose weight healthily or maintain their ideal weight - without starving or being malnourished.
Light menus contain a large portion of healthy fruit and vegetables and nutritious meat. They provide valuable vitamins, minerals and fibre that supply the body with everything it needs - with significantly fewer calories. The dog loses weight but still gets all the nutrients and does not lose muscle mass, for example.
Coconut flour, papaya, pineapple and artichoke leaves round off the Light meals. These ingredients are believed to support fat metabolism in a natural way and can help to maintain healthy blood fat levels. They are also considered particularly digestion-friendly.
Yes. The menus contain everything your dog needs. Among other things, they contain psyllium husks, which can contribute to a better feeling of satiety. The fibre swells in the digestive tract and therefore provides longer-lasting feeling of fullness.

Herbs such as marigold, parsley, nettle and dandelion are known to have a supportive effect on kidney function.
The reduced protein content minimises the strain on the kidneys, while the adjusted fat content together with easily digestible carbohydrates ensures calorie intake. This avoids overloading the kidneys and protects the metabolism while still providing the dog with the energy and nutrients it needs.

Marktragout menus FAQs

The Market Ragouts are high-quality dog menus that are similar to a traditional, home-cooked ragout. Juicy meat, tender vegetables, fruit and herbs are gently cooked so that colour, shape and flavour are preserved as far as possible. The result: a delicious meal that looks and smells home-made.
Depending on the menu, a Terra Canis Market Ragout contains beef or game goulash, tender chicken breast or whole chicken hearts. This provides your dog with high-quality protein from valuable, selected sources - for energy, vitality and muscle maintenance.
In addition to the meat base, the Market Ragouts contain finely diced vegetables, fruit and berries as well as selected herbs and natural additives. These provide vitamins, minerals, fibre and phytochemicals and ensure a varied, natural diet with lots of flavour and aroma.
Yes, our Market Ragouts are made using a grain-free recipe and are therefore suitable for dogs that are sensitive to grains. At the same time, all ingredients processed are 100% human-grade quality, so that only the finest flavour ends up in your dog's bowl.

Hypoallergenic menus FAQs

The highest quality ingredients are especially important for dogs with allergies. This clear, limited composition helps to reduce the occurrence of specific allergies and intolerances.
Depending on the variety, the menus contain meat from ostrich, duck, buffalo, horse, antelope or kangaroo - rare and low-allergen protein sources that are also suitable for exclusion diets, as the dog has usually never eaten them before and they are therefore an unknown protein for the immune system.
The Hypoallergenic menus are complete food. In addition to the high-quality meat, rapeseed oil and a balanced mix of vitamins and minerals ensure an optimum supply of essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and trace elements.
The menus are ideal for dogs with food allergies and intolerances or for dogs on an exclusion diet. They are grain- and lactose-free and have been developed in collaboration with vets - for maximum tolerability and a medically sound formulation.
